2027 Corporate Calendars and Diaries in Dubai: How to Get Them Right

A calendar or diary is the one gift that gets opened every single day of the year. Here’s how to choose the right one for 2027, what to print on it, and when to place the order so it lands on desks before January.

Every January, offices across Dubai fill up with calendars and diaries. Some sit on a desk for twelve months with the supplier’s logo facing the client. Others go straight into a drawer. The difference is rarely the budget. It’s whether someone thought about who would use it and how.

If 2027 calendars and diaries are on your list this year, now is the right time to plan them. Here’s what we tell our customers.

Desk calendar or wall calendar?

They do different jobs, so pick based on where the person sits.

  • Desk calendars are the classic client gift. The tent shape stands next to a keyboard, so your logo is in view every time someone checks a date. They suit office staff, managers and anyone at a desk all day.
  • Wall calendars work better for shops, clinics, workshops and reception areas, where people look up rather than down. They also give you more space for photos of your products or projects.

Many companies order both: desk calendars for clients and wall calendars for branches and partners. See all calendar printing options.

What to put on the pages

A calendar is twelve chances to show your work. Use them.

  • One strong photo per month. Your projects, products, team or Dubai scenes. Keep the logo small and consistent.
  • UAE public holidays. Clients really do use these. Note that Islamic holidays depend on the moon sighting, so mark them as expected dates.
  • Your contact details on every page, not just the cover. A phone number and website at the bottom of each month is enough.
  • Room to write. A calendar with no space for notes gets replaced by one that has it.

Choosing a diary

Corporate diaries are a step up from a calendar. They feel personal, and people carry them into meetings. The main choices are:

  • Pocket diaries for field staff and sales teams who are always out.
  • A5 diaries, the most popular size, which fit in a bag and still give a full page per day or week.
  • A4 and executive diaries for senior staff and top clients who want something that looks good on a boardroom table.

For the cover, a debossed or foiled logo looks smarter than a large printed one and lasts all year. Add a few pages at the front with your company profile, services and contact details, and the diary becomes a quiet sales tool.

Make it a set

For key clients, a diary on its own can feel thin. Pair it with a pen in a gift box, or choose one of our premium notebook sets. For your wider list, a desk calendar plus a thank-you card is plenty. Our year-end corporate gifts guide has more ideas.

When to order

Calendars are only useful if they arrive before the year starts. Work backwards from the day you want to hand them out:

  1. Now to early November: count names, choose the formats, collect photos and holiday dates.
  2. Mid-November: send artwork, or let our designers set it up, then approve the proof.
  3. Early December: receive, pack and deliver, before the holiday season and UAE National Day slow everything down.

Leave it to the last week of December and you’ll be choosing from whatever is left, not what you wanted.
